On a shared cruise you follow a fixed timetable with a hundred other passengers. On a private Bosphorus yacht cruise the boat is yours. Nobody else comes on board, the crew works only for your group, and the cruise starts when you are ready.

You decide how the day goes. Leave in the morning for breakfast on deck, sail at golden hour to watch the sun go down behind the old city, or go out after dark when the palaces and bridges are lit. Stay close to the city centre, or head north past the fortresses towards the Black Sea. If you want to stop in a quiet bay or slow down in front of a mansion for photos, just tell the captain.

The route

The cruise sails north along the European shore as far as the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, crosses the strait and returns along the Asian shore to the Maiden's Tower. These are the landmarks you pass on the way.

On the way you pass Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, the Ortaköy Mosque, the Bosphorus Bridge, Rumeli Fortress, Beylerbeyi Palace and the Maiden's Tower. See the full route map and all the landmarks.

With more time you can continue north towards the Black Sea, or add a swim stop in summer. The route is a suggestion: you can change it before or during the cruise.

Food and drinks

Every cruise starts with a welcome drink and light snacks, included in the price. For a full meal, choose one of our eight menus, prepared fresh and served on board, from a Turkish breakfast in the morning to a three-course dinner under the lights.

Prefer something else? Our private chef can prepare any menu you like: halal, vegetarian, vegan, children's meals or a dinner designed around your occasion. Menus can be combined for larger groups, and alcoholic drinks are available as an extra.

What affects the price

We do not publish fixed prices for private cruises, because every plan is different. Your quote is based on five things:

• The yacht: size and capacity
• Duration: how many hours you sail
• Date and time: weekends, summer evenings and holidays are busiest
• Group size: number of adults and children
• Food, drinks and extras: what you add to the cruise

Send us these details and you get a clear, written price with nothing hidden: fuel and marina fees are always included.

Meeting point

Choose the pier closest to your hotel or event venue. We board from eight piers along the Bosphorus:

Boarding at Kuruçeşme is included; boarding at any other pier adds one hour of yacht time to your quote. We send the exact pier with a map pin when you book.
