A wedding on a yacht turns the most beautiful stretch of Istanbul into your venue. You and your guests board in the centre of the city and cruise between Europe and Asia past Ottoman palaces, waterfront mansions and fortresses, while the sun sets over the old city and the bridges light up. The yacht is private, so there are no other guests: the deck, the crew and the whole programme are yours.

We host every part of your wedding on the water: an intimate ceremony with your closest family, a sunset vow exchange, an engagement party, a seated wedding reception or an after-party with a DJ under the illuminated bridges. Any decoration is possible, from a white flower arch on the bow to candlelit tables and string lights. Our private chef prepares the menu on board, with or without alcohol, as a seated dinner, a buffet or a cocktail reception, and we arrange your wedding cake and photography, video and drone filming.

We recommend at least 4 hours for a wedding cruise. As a TURSAB-licensed Istanbul agency and family business since 1967, we plan every wedding directly with our own crews and yachts, for groups from 10 to 250 guests.

Which yacht wedding option is right for you?

A wedding on the Bosphorus can mean several different things: getting married on board, celebrating afterwards on the water, or marking an earlier step such as the engagement. The questions below will point you to the right page and help you send us a clear request.

Ceremony, reception or both?

• You want to say your vows on the water. Choose a wedding ceremony on a yacht, where the bow, the flower arch and the sunset are the setting for the vows themselves.
• You are marrying on land and want the celebration afloat. Choose a wedding reception on a boat, built around dinner, speeches, the cake and dancing.
• You want both in one evening. Plan the ceremony at sunset and the reception straight after, on the same yacht, so guests never have to move.
• The reception is already booked on land. The after-party package keeps the night going on the water.

How many guests are you inviting?

The guest list often decides the format before anything else. A ceremony for close family suits a smaller yacht, where everyone stands near the arch and hears every word. A reception for a hundred or more needs a large saloon for the seated dinner and open decks for dancing. If your list is still growing, tell us the likely range rather than a single number, so we can suggest yachts that work at both ends.

Before and after the wedding day

Many couples use the water for more than one step of the journey. It often starts with a marriage proposal on a yacht, followed months later by an engagement party on a yacht with both families. If you plan several events, mention them together in your first message. It makes it easier to keep the style, the photographer and the planning consistent.

Wedding menus

Every cruise starts with a welcome drink and light snacks. For your wedding, choose a seated dinner, a buffet or a cocktail-style reception, with or without alcohol, prepared on board by our private chef for groups of 10 or more. You can also bring your own food and drinks, with a service fee of €10 per person.

Prefer something else? Our private chef can prepare any menu you like: halal, vegetarian, vegan, children's meals or a dinner designed around your occasion. Menus can be combined for larger groups, and alcoholic drinks are available as an extra.

Yacht wedding prices: what affects your quote

Every wedding is different, so we prepare a written quote for yours. The price is based on five things:

• The yacht: size and capacity
• Duration: we recommend at least 4 hours
• Date and time: weekends, summer evenings and holidays are busiest
• Group size: number of adults and children
• Food, drinks and extras: what you add to the cruise

Meeting points for your yacht wedding

Choose the pier closest to your hotel or venue; for your guests we can also arrange transfers. We board from eight piers along the Bosphorus:

Boarding at Kuruçeşme is included; boarding at any other pier adds one hour of yacht time to your quote. We send the exact pier with a map pin when you book.
