The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus

The temple of Artemis in Ephesus is known as the temple of Diana. Artemis temple, which is named as Artemisium in Latin, has its origins in the history of the Temple of Artemis. It dates from the 7th century. The temple, which was built with marble, was built by the Greek architect Chersiphron by Lydian King Croesus.
