First Door and First Courtyard in Topkapi Palace

In the first courtyard of the Topkapi Palace, there’s Hagia Eirene Church, the surgeon, hunkar imam, bakers, hospitals and nakkashane.

Second Gate and Second Courtyard at Topkapi Palace

When entered through the second door, there were stables on the left side between the sofa and the door. There were horses, camels, farrier, saddler. The second courtyard was the Divan Way and in the Ottoman period, gazelles and ants were wandering in the second courtyard.

Divan-i Hümayun

Divan-i Hümayun, also known as Kubbealti. Divan-i Hümayun is the place where state issues are discussed. There is the Treasury Room behind the Divan-i Hümayun. There is a collection of watches and weapons on the side of the Divan-i Hümayun. Here the swords of the sultans, ceremonial armor, pistols, realms, Japanese swords, helmets, horse heads, gifts and spoils, bricks are on display.

Third Gate and Third Courtyard in the Topkapı Palace, Babüssaade

In front of the Babüssaade the rulers of the sultans are being made. Cülus (Ceremony of the Sultans) is a boarding ceremony. Weddings and celebrations are usually held in front of this door.

The Fourth Courtyard in Topkapi Palace

There are Revan Pavilion, Baghdad Pavilion, Mecidiye Mansion, Circumcision Room (Summer Room).
