See Underground Cities

Faced with constant raids and plundering, the Cappadocians found a remnant in a second village where they could take refuge under their village.

Although 36 of them were unearthed, it is estimated that there are actually 150-120 underground cities under the ground. There are a number of public institutions, such as ventilation, irrigation, heating, sewerage systems, mental hospitals, and churches.

Take a Full Moon Walk in Güllüdere Valley

In the magical valleys of Cappadocia, there is a walking tour in the light of the full moon.

The tour starts at 20.30 with the gathering and registration of the Royal Balloon in Göreme. Then transfer to the main starting point of the tour with the transfer Güllüdere Valley.

After a 1-hour walk, there is a break in the Crusader Church. Then, the Church of the Colony is being passed. There is a music concert and a meal followed by a walk to the Red Valley (40 minutes).

At night at 24.00, we are returning. In our opinion, the most original Cappadocia experience. If you’re in Cappadocia at a full moon, you’re lucky.

What to bring?
– Wear comfortable shoes and comfortable pants for your wrists.
– Always take water with you.
– Even if the moonlight will guide you, keep a headlamp in case the weather is cloudy.
– In Cappadocia, as in deserts, there is a gap between day and night temperatures, so you should definitely take long-sleeved clothes, hoodie or coats according to the season.
– Instead of a sleeve bag as a bag, choose a small backpack to limit your ability to a minimum.
