Biblical Turkey Tour for Christians: Kusadasi, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Pamukkale, Laodicea, Ephesus
What You Can Expect
2 Days 7 Revelation Churches tour package includes visits to each of the 7 churches mentioned in chapters 2 and 3 of the Biblical book of Revelation. During two of his missionary journeys St. Paul visited Ephesus in Turkey. He stayed in the city for about three years (Acts 19:1-20).
In Ephesus, Paul discovered twelve believers who were baptized but who did not as yet have the Holy Spirit. Paul baptized them in Jesus' Name and they received God's Holy Spirit.
The Seven Churches of Revelation, also known as The Seven Churches of the Apocalypse and The Seven Churches of Asia (referring to the Roman province of Asia, not the entire continent), are seven major churches of Early Christianity, as mentioned in the New Testament Book of Revelation. In Revelation, on the Greek island of Patmos, Jesus Christ instructs his servant, the Apostle John, through an angelic intermediary, to: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."
"Churches" in this context refers to the community or local congregations of Christians living in each city, and not merely to the building or buildings in which they gathered for worship.
